The theme for this year's anthology is rites of passage, any kind of passage through life, time or space. Fiction on this topic may be contemporary or historical. Our preference is for emotional complexity. We are not interested in genre fiction unless it transcends genre. Submit one short story or flash (750 to 6,000 words)  in a Word doc or docx, RTF or ODT, which includes title in the file name (but NOT the author's name). Do not include author name in the file, as readings are blind. Work should not have been previously published, either online or in print.
